GMS is excited to offer a wide array of athletic activities for students. 6th graders have the opportunity to participate in intramural sports. 7th and 8th graders have the opportunity to play sports against other middle schools in the San Gabriel Valley as part of the San Gabriel Valley Middle School Sports League. 

To participate in the Gladstone Middle School sports program, a student must:

• Maintain at least a 2.0 GPA and have no failing grades prior to or during the season.
  • A grade check will take place during the season.
  • Failure to maintain grades may result in one-time probation if deemed necessary. 
• Maintain satisfactory citizenship and sportsmanship.
  • School site disciplinary action may be cause for removal from athletics participation. 
• Be in attendance for a minimum of four complete periods to participate in any extracurricular activity.
