The School Board usually meets the first and third Tuesday of each month. About a third of meetings are held at the Board Room of the district office, located at 546 So. Citrus Ave. in Azusa; a third at the Azusa Civic Auditorium, 213 E. Foothill Blvd.; and a third at schools. Meetings at the Board Room and at schools are live-streamed on the AUSD YouTube channel; meetings at the Civic Auditorium can be viewed live on Spectrum Cable channel 3 and are archived on the AUSD YouTube channel.

Meetings begin with a closed session or an open study (informational) session. Regular agenda items are considered at 7 p.m. Please check the meeting agenda, as start times and meeting locations vary.

Certain confidential matters regarding employees, individual students, and collective bargaining are discussed in closed session, as required by California law. The School Board does not discuss complaints against individual employees in an open meeting.
