Who can attend?
Adults over 18 can attend. There is no restriction associated with your place of residence.

How can I register for a class?
All students must register online
All students MUST fill out a registration and take a pre and post CASAS test. Students may register daily any time online or in person Monday through Thursday from 8 AM to 7 PM and Fridays from 8 AM to 3 PM

Where can I park?
All parking is FREE!
We have a small lot in front of the Main Office

How much does it cost to attend the school?
All Academic, Citizenship Preparation, and English As A Second Language (ESL) classes are FREE.
Career-Technical Education courses may require program and/or material fees. Books and other supplies purchased at our Main Office must be paid with credit card (Visa or Master Card only) Checks are not accepted.

Do I have to pay for books?
Some of our classes do require textbooks.

Do you offer High School Diploma and GED?
Yes, we offer High School Diploma classes through Regularly Scheduled classes, Independent Study Labs, Home Study/Independent Study and Online Independent Study Labs.
We offer the HiSET Test instead of the GED. The HiSET test also gives students their High School Equivalency Certificate. To register for the official HiSET test students must register in the AAEC main Office. After registering, students can select available testing dates and times.

Do you offer Financial Aid?
Unfortunately, we do NOT offer Financial Aid.

Do you provide childcare?
We do NOT provide childcare.

I don’t have a green card, may I still attend?
Yes, you may attend.

What time of day do you offer your classes?
Classes are offered at various times throughout the day, Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm and Friday 8:00am - 12:30pm

How do I know which ESL classes to sign up for?
Students interested in ESL must register online by selecting ESL Registration Section and taking a placement exam. After the exam, the student will then be advised of their level and which classes are available.

Do I need to speak with a counselor before registering?
It is not necessary to speak to a counselor before registering; however, the counselor is available to assist students with vocational and academic questions

Do you have a refund policy?
It is the intent of Azusa Adult Education Center to have a fair and equitable refund policy. The following procedures have been established as part of this policy: Refunds will be issued for classes or programs cancelled by AAEC. Refunds must be requested prior to the first class meeting whether attended or not. No refunds will be issued once classes are in session. Original receipt is required for all refunds.
