Hello! I'm Mrs. Clarke as the Principal of Dalton Elementary. It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Dalton Community.

As the oldest of four children, I began 'playing teacher' at a very young age. Once I met my third-grade teacher, I knew that I would be in education for the rest of my life. My third-grade teacher became what I aspired to be as an educator. She was the perfect blend of smart, caring, adventurous, focused and fun! I have been in education since 1992 and began working in the Azusa Unified School District in 1995. I received my B.A. from Azusa Pacific University, M.A. from Cal Poly Pomona, Multiple Subject Credential from APU, and Special Education credential from Cal Poly Pomona. In addition, I received an Autism Authorization from the Los Angeles County Office of Education and Administrative Credentials from the University of LaVerne Cal State Long Beach.

In my spare time, I enjoy road cycling, camping, hiking, traveling, and scrapbooking. My husband and I love spending time with our nieces and nephews and taking them on adventures.

It is my honor and privilege to serve the community of Azusa. I moved to Azusa in 1989 and have either lived or worked here ever since. I love this community, and I am dedicated to the success of Azusa students.
