At Murray, our mission is to provide for the academic and specialized needs of students by respecting their differences and abilities to become lifelong learners.  As Principal, I am dedicated to partnering with our community and staff members to foster a positive and safe learning environment.  Through instructional strategies and best practices, we will work towards meeting the academic needs of each of our students.  Our goal as a staff is to live our vision daily, “To Provide Our Students with the Best Education Everyday!”

Murray Elementary school teachers and support staff always strive to provide a positive and safe learning environment for our students as they master the necessary skills to be successful in the 21st Century. We are committed to providing a school climate where every student is held accountable to “Being Respectful, Being Kind, and Being Responsible.”  These three character traits are the basis of the behavior expectations that we are instilling in each of our students daily.  We teach character expectations through daily lessons and modeling.  We promote and reward expected behaviors through praise and incentives.
