Dear Powell Parents and Students,

I would like to welcome you to the 2022-2023 school year!  All of us on staff are looking forward to a wonderful year of learning and growing together. Below are some important dates and times that you might want to put on your calendar. 

• The Powell Office will open August 8th
• The First Day of school is Thursday, August 18th
• Both Thursday, 8/18, and Friday, 8/19 are minimum days
• Registration/Data Confirmation is now open. You must register online via the district website prior to the first day of school in order to receive your student’s classroom assignment. 
• Class lists will be posted on the office window for all registered students on Wednesday, August 17th at 4:00pm. 

This school year, Powell will have classes for Preschool and 1st-6th grade students. TK and Kindergarten students will attend Lee Elementary. Transportation will be provided between Powell and Lee. Our guiding theme for this year is: Finish Strong. We will continue to work diligently to meet our school goals:

*High levels of learning and increased academic achievement for ALL students

*A warm and welcoming environment for ALL
